- Analyze the system and prepare support documentation for operational use.
- Work with the development team to help correct pre-launch issues with the application.

Job Description: 
Under the supervision of the Manager, Network Operations, the Senior LAN Analyst will monitor the LAN components for error conditions and respond to customer needs and/or internal escalation requests. Problem determination and proper escalation to vendors and/or other IS support groups are a key function of the Senior LAN Analyst.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitors LAN components by use of Network Management tools.
2. Responds to customer inquiries and error notifications.
3. Identifies problems and takes corrective actions within established guidelines.
4. Performance tuning of production systems.
5. Work with Integrated Network Systems Management (INSM) team.
6. Provide technical assistance to internal departments and organizations; work with other analysts on issues relating to the LAN infrastructure
7. Implements system changes as necessary.
8. Maintains a production log to document hardware/software problems, outages, actions taken and similar data.
9. Schedules routine maintenance
10. Monitors remedy queue, assists other team members as necessary to resolve tickets.
11. Escalates to vendors or other IS groups as necessary
