Position Summary:
 
Scientific Games, a leading provider of lottery products and services, has an opening in its Alpharetta proposal center for a proposal manager.  This position will lead bid development and proposal preparation in response to complex Government-issued Request for Proposals (RFPs).  
 
Job Description:
 
·        Review RFP, draft proposal outline, establish schedule & create assignment list.
·        Lead the proposal team through the proposal development process, from kickoff to section outlines to initial drafts to finished proposal copy. (note: this process may vary across proposals, depending on bid complexity, schedules, and availability of support resources).
·        Work with proposal team and contributors to ensure winning strategy, competitive differentiators, and product offerings are clearly presented.
·        Update the strategy and differentiation points as changes become necessary.
·        Review proposal sections to verify compliance with RFP requirements.  Provide comprehensive proposal support, including substantive writing, rewriting and editing.
·        Review across and within proposal sections to ensure consistency of messages and presentation of information.
·        Write key sections, where appropriate (e.g. executive summaries, corporate capabilities, section summaries, benefit statements, figure introductions, etc.).
·        Establish and lead all compliance and management reviews (e.g. pink teams and red teams).  Track open issues, issue action items, and manage through to completion.
·        Work in collaboration with the publishing group to define the development and production schedule. Participate in production team activities, including assisting with collating, binding, quality control initiatives, and boxing proposals as well as other proposal-related administrative tasks.
·        Assist with maintenance of sample game library and game book creation.
·        Provide reports as requested.
·        Perform other content development or documentation-related projects as necessary to support business development activities.
